Our Youth Development Mission

Potential is universal. Opportunity is not. For millions of young people — especially those from under-resourced communities — the gap between what they are capable of and what the world offers them is vast. The SHAZAM Foundation works to close that gap: not through charity, but through investment in the structures, relationships, and programs that allow young people to discover and develop their full capacity.

Drawing on youth.gov's evidence-based positive youth development frameworks, we design and support programs that build the five Cs — competence, confidence, connection, character, and contribution. We believe that when young people are seen, supported, and given real responsibility, they do not just survive — they lead.
