Global Initiatives & Policy

Addressing the World's Most Complex Challenges.

The most consequential problems facing humanity — climate change, conflict, inequality, pandemic — cannot be solved by any single nation, institution, or discipline. The SHAZAM Foundation works within and alongside international systems to shape the policies, frameworks, and coalitions that make collective action possible.

Our Global Policy Mission

Global challenges are interconnected. A conflict that displaces millions creates a refugee crisis that strains neighboring states, which destabilizes regional economies, which weakens the institutions needed to address the next crisis. The SHAZAM Foundation approaches global policy with this systemic understanding — recognizing that durable solutions require coordinated action across borders, sectors, and disciplines.

Drawing on the UN's global issues framework, RAND Corporation research, the UIA Encyclopedia of World Problems, and U.S. State Department resources, we bring analytical rigor and diplomatic experience to the world's most complex problems. We do not simply study these challenges — we engage the institutions and decision-makers with the power to address them.
